| Case Study: America on Wheels |
| The Challenge In order to bring a sense of movement to the displays at America on Wheels, an automotive history museum, the exhibit designers wanted to embed audio visual systems into the displays. Each exhibit had it's own unique content and requirements. Additionally the systems had to be easy to maintain and not require time-consuming manual maintenance. |
The SolutionWhen CSI received the contract for the project, we worked with the staff of America on Wheels to determine the exact needs of the facility in terms of the displays and sound system. We then installed an infrastructure of NEC displays and Bose speakers throughout the entire facility. The majority of the displays were self- contained with AV players for the media that was set to play. The equipment was set on timers to turn on and off automatically, which provided simplistic use of the system for the museum staff. |
