| The Challenge When the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's Blackriver Road started their design for the new facility, it was evident that only a completely mobile staff would be required to help patients and operate the facility on a round the clock basis. This required an inventive design to provide the outside and internal communication and security to be mobile as well. Additional challenges on the project were the physical footprint, which challenged the design team. CSI was brought in to help the facility with a custom designed integrated wireless solution that would put the all operation of the facility in the palm of there hands. |
 The SolutionAfter analyzing the needs of the facility, CSI provided an Iwatsu Omegatrek wireless phone system integrated to the Rauland Responder Nurse Call system and door security system. The wireless system provided the staff with the ability to field calls, unlock doors, answer patient calls on their wireless handsets all while taking care of patients. |
