| The Challenge Healthcare Data's growth plan required them to move a new facility. This move required them to find a vendor that could provide a turnkey solution for voice, IT services, network infrastructure and AV solutions. They also required their existing network assets to be relocated and reconfigured in their new location. |
| The Solution CSI was invited to demonstrate a solution that would meet their needs, along with several other IT companies. Ultimately, CSI was selected to design and install a unified communications platform that integrated all their messaging and communications and provided intelligent call control through their phones and computers. Using Iwatsu's Quad fusion technology, CSI deployed communication devices at the main office, while a remote office in Clark Summit made use of VoIP solutions for seamless communication between offices. CSI also engineered and installed a complete infrastructure to support both phone and network devices. As part of the project, CSI had the responsibility of relocating all the network equipment, including servers, switches, and printers. Having settled into the new space, it was necessary to upgrade Healthcare Data's Microsoft Exchange Server from 2000 to 2007. The migration was completed quickly and with very little downtime, which was well received by the client. |
