When I took office as mayor of Allentown in January 2006, I pledged to make the third largest city in Pennsylvania a safe place to live, work and play.

A key component to our public safety policy has been the addition of surveillance cameras. We recognized that a wireless surveillance network would be advantageous in the efforts to reduce and prevent crime throughout the city.

The City of Allentown's decision to choose Communication Systems, Inc. (CSI) as our wireless surveillance project integrator has proven to be the right decision. CSI has worked in partnership with many parties in our City's government to provide the best solution to meet our public safety goals while staying within budget margins.
